I know this is lame, but I haven't blogged anything yet in April, and I've never missed a month since I started the blog in 2005. Truth be told, my twitter account has taken over the basic functionality that used to be covered in blogging. It's just so much easier and faster and addicting.
Anywho. I went to the mailbox this evening, and what should I find, but a package from Canal Street Distribution in Henderson Nevada. What does this mean you say? Why I'll tell you: the new Michel Gondry DVD arrived:

I was hoping the portrait I ordered was going to be tucked in with it, and for a moment before I opened the envelope my heart skipped a beat. Alas no, it has yet to arrive. Yes, I paid $20 to have Michel Gondry draw my portrait from a photo, a new "service" he's been offering since his website opened up shop earlier in the month. I'm still wonder if it is a scam, but the arrival of the video is a good sign it's not (I was order number 13 by the way). I have yet to view the DVD -- I might savor it over the weekend, although I've seen most of the videos already from YouTube.
